This is not new news, but it bears repeating.  Hegang, Northern China resident Jian Feng was married to a pretty girl.  Things were going well. They got pregnant, and a baby girl was born.  It wasn’t, as it turns out, a beautiful baby girl.  In fact, she was really ugly.  Jian didn’t understand it.  He was an OK-looking guy, his wife was gorgeous, so why was this baby so dog-ugly?  His wife must have cheated on him!  With an ugly guy!  How dare she?

Desperate to prove that she’d been faithful, Jian’s wife showed him a picture of herself – PRIOR to her extensive plastic surgery.  Uggo!  Oh no!  Jian freaked out, divorced his wife, and SUED her for $120,000.  And guess what?  HE WON.  He filed a lawsuit that his wife had been deceptive and gotten him to marry her under false pretenses (so much for looking within a person to fall in love) so he WON.

Not only did the woman pay $100,000 for the surgery to make her pretty, she had to pay $120,000 to a guy who apparently only loved her for the looks she paid for.  Oh well, at least she has her ugly baby to keep her company.

Because I can find no internet pictures of these people, I submit my best guesses as to the real situation:

The wife’s before picture.  Poor thing.  Luckily, some South Korean plastic surgeons did their magic, and she ended up looking like this:

But, this is what the poor little baby looked like.  Yikes!

So ends the sad tale.  A word of caution – if you’re going to get un-ugly, fess up to your prior ugliness before procreating.

Oregon sure had a lot of crazy laws, but this one struck me as the strangest. It is unlawful to be associated with a horse tripping event or a bear wrestling exhibition. Does that sound as unorthodox to you as it does to me? This isn’t even a part of some overarching “no animal cruelty” law. This is one dedicated specifically to horses and bears.

What the heck are the people doing in over there in Oregon? I’ve heard of cow tipping, but horse tripping? And is watching bears fight each other fun enough to go through all the trouble of catching them?

If you do get caught doing either one of these, you can go to jail for a year and/or have to pay of $2,000. So stop giving steroids to your bear and poking your horse!
