Sun Prairie, Wisconsin – Beware: Menacing Puppies At Large In The City
Apparently Sun Prairie, Wisconsin has been convicting a lot of animals recently because they created a law about it. It does lead a person to question what they are doing in their judicial systems. Apparently, a large amount of animals are being convicted. The official ordinance, which is ordinance 6.04.060, states: “It shall be unlawful for any person within the city to own, harbor or keep any dog or cat which…is at large within the limits of the city”. Assuming that “at large” means what it means in most situations, one can only assume that these animals have been convicted.
“It shall be unlawful for any person within the city to own, harbor or keep any dog or cat which…is at large within the limits of the city”
The animal problem in Sun Prairie must be an even bigger concern because the restriction gets even more specific. It is an actual lawful restriction in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin for a person to keep any animal that “worries” any other domestic animal. The question remains as to how exactly you define “worrying an animal”. However, the laws definitely seem to add up to say that you will likely be in trouble if your dog is larger than the neighbor’s dog. And don’t even consider taking your dog for a walk if it may bark at another animal.
The saying always goes that safety comes first, so it seems like these menacing animals need to be placed under arrest- No more dogs “at large” in Sun Prairie.
