Masked Meetings
“I’m just on my way to the 16th century fashion ball, officer.”
This law is going to sound really ridiculous but has a good reason for being passed. In North Carolina, if you are at least 16 years old, you are not allowed to hold a meeting on private property wearing a mask or anything to hide your identity unless you have expressed consent by the owner.
Sounds pretty weird, but the reasoning behind it was to discourage KKK members from performing their “demonstrations” and operating within the state. Before I learned that, however, I could only imagine a few guys sitting around a table in super hero costumes like a real life Justice League. The only difference was they looked really dorky and were conducting an actual business meeting.
This means have all the costumed meetings you can while you’re still young. Your group of Super friends can only last so so long before you have to embarrassingly ask someone to house your “headquarters.”
